This Polish Looks As Good As It Sounds!

Kokie Creme Brule

Happy Friday! How about something light and easy on the eyes? That's how I felt about Kokie Creme Brule. When it comes to neutrals it's best to choose a color that will compliment your skin tone. That is usually easier said, than done. Creme Brule was not quite the right shade of neutral for me, so my skin looked a little pink. Give me a couple of months into summer and it will be the perfect shade on me! This cream formula was a little bit thinner than the other Kokie polishes I have tried but only marginally so. I had no issues with application and two coats covered my nails completely, drying nice and glossy. With these lighter colors I often worry that it might be a streaky application but Creme Brule was a nice even application. I applied top coat before snapping this picture.

I used Sally Hansen Go as my gold of choice for this stamp design. It helped tone down the pink appearance of my skin. There is nothing boring or basic about this manicure. I actually wondered why I haven't worn this combination before. Perfect for any time of the year and since it's a lighter color it won't show tip wear as fast as darker colors might, giving you a longer lasting manicure. I hope you have a great weekend and I'll see you back here Monday!
