Lady And The Tramp!
Pink nails are fun and feminine. I wore hot pink yesterday so I thought I would go a little softer and more girly today with Kokie Unforgettable a medium pink perfect for spring. The formula was opaque in two coats and dried to a glossy finish. It has a squishy consistency that helps camouflage imperfections on the nail which is a bonus. It's not a terribly unique color but if you are going to spend money on a pink polish you might as well get a good quality one. Unforgettable leveled beautifully which is such an important factor when you are applying a squishy polish. It means your nails have the potential to look professionally done. I saw an article while waiting in a doctors office that claimed that your choice of nail polish color reveals your personality. I was reminded of that quick read as I was painting my nails with Unforgettable. According to the article pink meant that you wear your heart on your sleeve and the deeper the pink the more passionate you are. Yesterday I wore hot pink... *wink* Alright so it was a silly guilty pleasure article but it was a fun read and it helped kill some time. I like pink nail polish though there was a time when I rebelled against all things pink for reasons I can't even remember. Once I had a little girl of my own she slowly wore down my resolve and after a while I even started liking pink. I even own a pair of pink shoes! Turns out being girly is a lot more fun than I expected it to be. This is two coats with top coat.
You know what's better than pink nails? Pink nails stamped with hot pink holo! I used Superchic Lacquer Tramp Queen for the stamping polish. It's such a gorgeous raspberry holo that's made even better because it's a one coat wonder. It's one of Lil Miss Nailvannas favorite holographic polishes as well. When she saw how awesome my nails turned out she wasted no time asking if she could get this on her fingers for her next manicure. Unforgettable is beautiful all on it's own but don't be afraid to experiment with it. Embellish your nails and treat it like a tiny canvas because it's fun. If you don't like how it turns out you can always re apply it, and since it's such a great formula the application is painless. You have the whole weekend ahead of you to play! See you on Monday.
