Revlon Sky's The Limit

Revlon Sky's The Limit is a metallic powder blue that is very easy on the eyes. One of the hardest parts of this blog is choosing what I would like to post next. There are so many brands and colors out there to choose from that it can be mind blowing. I try to post mostly what is currently available for purchase but I will occasionally show you a polish that is retired but I'm absolutely in love with. The good news is that the subject of today's post is still available and I'm glad because I really do enjoy it. Sky's The Limit drew my eyes frequently throughout the day without being a distraction. The formula was easy to use but a touch on the sheer side so I applied three coats with top coat. Once again I chose to use Essie Gel Setter as my top coat instead of the suggested step 2 from Revlon. If you have not read my review of Gel Setter have a quick read here. I have been using it as my exclusive top coat and works perfectly, even on polishes that say you need a special top coat! I have been testing other Top Coats out in the mean time and still haven't found anything that comes close. You'll be among the first to know if I ever do. I was happy with Sky's The Limit and it looked beautiful and glossy with my top coat of choice and lasted without signs of chips or tip wear. Revlon has some pretty wicked colors in the Colorstay Gel Envy line and I have picked up my fair share. You can expect that I will be posting a few more in the future.
