Sooo Scandalous!
Revlon Scandalous Scandalous is one of those polishes that I have been meaning to get to but somehow it just did not happen. I decided to change that today. This polish is a black jelly-based polish that's got a generous amount of fuchsia hex and micro-glitters. It looks very pretty in the bottle and I was really hoping it would look just as good on my nails. The first coat went on pretty sheer. I made sure that my bottle was thoroughly mixed before I added the second coat a

November Rain
Revlon Rain Forest Revlon Rain Forest is a wicked deep green filled with olive glitter that is visible under just about any light and glitters like a dream. The Colorstay line has a built in base coat according to Revlon but with a color this dark I didn't dare skip the base coat in case it stained my nails. The formula is quite good, I loved the consistency and even with all of that glitter it applied nice and evenly. I find the double brushes in this line still feel a bit w

This Roast Is Under Cooked!
Revlon French Roast Revlon French Roast reminds me more of milk chocolate than coffee but that could be my sweet tooth talking. It's a beautiful brown from the Colorstay line with a slight shimmer to it. In the bottle the shimmer appears a lot more substantial than it actually appears on your nails but it is still slightly visible. The formula I found quite pleasant to work with and the wide brush that comes with this line of polish gave me no issues at all. I applied two l

Terrible Name, Great Polish!
Revlon Fall Mood My polish of choice today is Revlon Fall Mood, a soft bronze that is perfect for fall. Just the other day I said it was way too early for pumpkin spice anything and there I was this morning with a pumpkin spice latte in hand. The weather has been pretty temperamental, cold one day hot the next making it clear that summer has just about come to an end. I have all but put away my neon polishes and started pulling out my fall favorites but I might have left out

Showtime!
Revlon Showtime You would think that with the amount of nail polish I own I could walk past a bottle of polish and not get all giddy. If it was a test on self control I would have failed but since it's about having all the pretty nail polish I win. Revlon Showtime is a beautiful rich glittery jewel tone purple. I had no issues with application but the Gel Envy Line brushes are double brushes. When I first tried Gel Envy I was not the biggest fan of the new thicker brushes but

Taupeiary, Nailvanna Style!
Orly Nite Owl Orly Nite Owl did not look nearly as impressive in the bottle as it did on my nails! This is my kind of neutral, taupe brown with a glorious infusion of silver micro shimmer. The formula was quite nice and a pleasure to work with. Two easy coats for opacity without any fuss. I can't find a single reason why I would not recommend this polish. Before I took the picture I added my customary layer of top coat. I was quite pleased with my subtle manicure because the

Limitless!
Revlon Sky's The Limit Revlon Sky's The Limit is a metallic powder blue that is very easy on the eyes. One of the hardest parts of this blog is choosing what I would like to post next. There are so many brands and colors out there to choose from that it can be mind blowing. I try to post mostly what is currently available for purchase but I will occasionally show you a polish that is retired but I'm absolutely in love with. The good news is that the subject of today's post i

Just... Peachy
Revlon Joker's Wild Revlon Joker's Wild was an easy to work with formula but it was a bit on the thin side. I found that I needed to go a little slower with this polish because of that and needed three coats for opacity. I would recommend thin coats if you want to avoid flooding your cuticles. I used my regular top coat instead of the Color Stay Gel Envy because it's awesome and I feel that it dries glossier. When I'm wearing a creme polish I want it glossy, very glossy! Jo

Fuller House!
Revlon Full House Full House is my first from the Revlon Colorstay Gel Envy Line. This polish lived up to its name and a lot more. It's not a gel polish, so don't panic. You will not need a special light to cure it though it does come with a recommended top coat that I ended up not using. Who does that, right? Don't judge....that's my job! I love the bright colors for spring and Full House fit the bill. At first glance I was not sure about the brush though. It seemed kind

Amazing!
Revlon Spidey Sense We had a nice and easy going weekend so far and managed to score some quality family time with some popcorn and Netflix. As I watched the super hero and villain battling it out I made a mental note to pull out Spidey Sense because it's been way too long. I absolutely love this polish. It's a metallic/foil type red that leans towards raspberry depending on the lighting. It was released as part of an Electric Chrome Collection in 2014 for Spider-man 2 and
