The Quest Continues...
Zoya Purity Zoya Purity has caught my eye and as many of you know I am on a quest to find the perfect white. When Zoya released the Ultra Brights Safe Neons Summer 2016 collection I had the another opportunity to review Purity. I have already posted the amazing Mirajane from the Ultra Brights but thought I better reign myself in because that collection needs a good white base so that should be the starting point. Purity is a straight up creme polish. The formula is a bit thi
Be Koi With Me!
China Glaze Japanese Koi China Glaze Japanese Koi is a bright one! Neon orange so bright and loud that it's distracting. One of the reasons I reached for this polish was because of how much I loved wearing Pool Party which is also from China Glaze. This may have started a bit of a neon obsession for me. I love bright and vibrant nails but that one turned me into a bit of a neon monster. I applied a white base coat to my nails and allowed them to dry before I started painting
Sally Hansen Soak At Sunset Soak At Sunset is from the new line of Color Therapy polishes by Sally Hansen. They say that the patented argan oil formula fuses intensive nourishment and instant moisture for healthy looking nails. The instructions for application are to apply to bare nails no base coat required. I'm assuming that this allows the oils that the polish is infused with to be absorbed by your nail plate. Color Therapy top coat is recommended but not required. Once eve
Zoya Mirajane Zoya Mirajane is from the newly release Ultra Brights Safe Neons Summer 2016 collection. There are six gorgeous creme shades in this collection and choosing which one to wear first was not easy. The colors in the bottle are bright like gemstones but I finally chose Mirajane, a classic bright navy. I decided to follow manufactures suggestion this time (don't get used to it) and applied a white base coat to get the most pop out of the color. The formula surprised
Soft, Subtle, Sensational!
ILNP Sweet Pea ILNP Sweet Pea is from the Spring 2016 collection. I had not posted it yet because I have been wrapped up in the bright and fun summer colors. I wanted something a bit softer but still sparkly today to change things up. My first thought was ILNP Sand Baby that was released this spring as well but then I realized Sweet Pea was still waiting untested and it felt like it would be a good choice for today. From the first brush stroke I knew that just like every oth
Everyone Loves A Happy Ending!
Sinful Colors Happy Ending Sinful Colors Happy Ending is a fresh clean green with a delicate gold shimmer through it. I was not expecting this much awesome out if this little bottle. I was sitting on the fence trying to decide on a polish to wear. I have so many to choose from so what's the problem? I entertained the thought for a moment to let Mr. Nailvanna choose just for fun to see what he picks but any time I go down that road he gets an evil little twinkle in his eyes a
On My List!
Essie On The List Essie On The List is from he new Gel Couture line and I was very excited to try this one on. I'll admit it, I have purchased nail polish before just based on the shape of the bottle because I love unique bottles. As soon as I saw the shape of the new Essie line I knew it would be on the list of nail polish must haves for my collection. It took longer than I expected it to but I finally came across a display and scooped it up. I promised my girl at the post
KB Shimmer Suit The Breeze KB Shimmer Suit The Breeze is the last one from the Summer 2016 collection and it was not to be kept waiting any longer. A gorgeous periwinkle blue with shimmery pink and violet micro flakes make it one of the prettiest blue polishes I own. The formula was smooth and easy to apply but it was a bit sheer so opacity took three coats, but who is counting? I added my standard layer of top coat before taking a picture. It's vibrant and beautiful and I
L'Oreal Rouge Sauvage L'Oreal Rouge Sauvage is in such a pretty bottle and it caught my attention while we were out shopping and I'm not saying I needed the encouragement to buy it but I had help. I was planing on red nails today and what a coincidence I have a brand new red to try! The official name of the collection: L’Oréal Le Vernis à L’Huile by Colour Riche. Big name.... They go on to say that this is their first line of nail polish enriched with a blend of precious oil
Sally Hansen White On I have been on a bit of a white kick lately and Ironically I called my review of Essie's Blanc, White On. I kept thinking that I had seen that name before. After looking through my collection I came across White On by Sally Hansen and I knew instantly why it had come to mind. I figured that the only fair thing to do would be to review it! From the first stroke it did not feel right. It's a thick and chalky formula that was not much fun to apply and thoug
