The Name Sucks But This Polish Is Amazing!
Essence Feels Like Birthday I was sold on Essence Feels Like Birthday when I spied the "I'm New" sticker. I loved the formula of the previous Essence polishes that I tried and I have been keeping a close eye out for any new colors that pop up. It's one of my favorite drug store brands. Feels Like Birthday is a rich magenta creme with a great formula and opacity perfect for the fall to winter transition. I applied two easy coats and followed it up with a layer of top coat. A g

Twilight Before Christmas!
Kokie Sugar Plum I had intended to post Kokie Sugar Plum closer to Christmas because of it's name. I'm not good at waiting though and anything that glitters is just about impossible for me to resist. Go ahead, call me a magpie, you won't be the first. A great formula once again from Kokie, opaque in two coats. A deep purple base packed to perfection with glitter so the end result is purple foil nails that would certainly look amazing this Christmas or as you may have guessed,

Soo Shifty!
China Glaze Pearl Jammin' I have seen China Glaze Pearl Jammin' around a time or two but it just never really spoke to me so I kept passing on it. I heard a few people talking about it and they were really crushing on it so I decided to check it out. It was released this fall as part of the Rebel 2016 collection. At first I thought it was a pale grey with pink opalescent shimmer. I started painting my nails with it and I was seeing a pale blue with a gold shimmer. I applied t

Princess Pink!
Kokie Weekend Getaway It's been a while since I had pink nails. I chose Kokie's Weekend Getaway for today's manicure. I have had such a great experience with this new brand so far. Once again the formula was amazing and the polish glided on my nails. I was a bit surprised at how sheer the formula was, it's more of a crelly than a cream. If I lost you there, a crelly polish has more sheerness than a creme polish does meaning you need to build it up by layering it. These types

Sooo Scandalous!
Revlon Scandalous Scandalous is one of those polishes that I have been meaning to get to but somehow it just did not happen. I decided to change that today. This polish is a black jelly-based polish that's got a generous amount of fuchsia hex and micro-glitters. It looks very pretty in the bottle and I was really hoping it would look just as good on my nails. The first coat went on pretty sheer. I made sure that my bottle was thoroughly mixed before I added the second coat a

"A Real Actual Gem"
Sally Hansen Save The Date Sally Hansen has some great polish. Occasionally I come across a color that surpasses all my expectations. Save The Date is definitely one of those knock out colors. When I pulled it out I expected a burgundy that might make a pretty base for stamping. I applied the first coat and right away I could see that this polish had more depth to it than I was expecting. The second coat cemented that conclusion as I watched the magenta and purple shimmer giv

Atlantis Rising!
Kokie Atlantis At Last Atlantis At Last is a cobalt blue dream. The creme formula is fantastic and just glides onto your nails. Well pigmented, two coats will have it completely opaque. I applied a layer of top coat for the picture above. It does not matter what season it is, a vibrant cobalt manicure will always look good. I knew from the moment I pulled out Atlantis At Last that I wanted to stamp a pattern in white over it. I imagined a much crisper image transfer but unfor

Matte Or Glossy Va-Va-Voom Has You Covered!
Essence Va-Va-Voom I was curious to see what Essence Va-Va-Voom meant by the soft matte sticker on the cap. I applied two easy layers and sat back and allowed it to dry. I took my first picture for you without any top coat so you can see the soft matte finish. This formula is easy to work with and I'm continuously surprised by how such a little bottle can pack such a strong punch. It has a wide brush that is just fantastic, and isn't awkward to work with. I'm not a fan of the

There's A New Royal In Town!
Kokie Royal Flush I wanted to wear something that would give me a glitter fix. Kokie Royal Flush looked pretty interesting in the bottle, a glittering blue that shifted a bit purple. As I started painting my nails I was happy to find the formula very nice and easy to work with. It is a little bit on the sheer side so it took me three thin coats to get it completely opaque. It wasn't patchy and the sheer quality of the formula let the glitter from the layers below show through

Kommando Fails Basic Training
Sinful Colors Kommando I was in the mood for something that felt a bit seasonal but I am in no way ready to jump into anything Christmas related because it's still November! Way too early for the lights and tinsel. I decided on a neutral polish. Sinful Colors Kommando has been in my untried basket since the summer at least. A pretty sparking pinkish nude from the Kylie Jenner line that I have been looking forward to trying but somehow missed. I found the formula was a bit on
