Winter Gets Rocked By This Kokie Star!

I don't know about you guys but I have had enough of winter. I'm ready to say goodbye to salt stains on my boots and hello to sunny days and warmer weather. I am pretty sure that my daydreaming of spring had something to do with my choice for today's manicure color. Kokie Rock Star is a beautiful golden shimmer filled lavender. A great formula that applies easily without any fuss. I found trying to capture that shimmer in the picture a bit challenging but I feel I came close. In person it's alive, soft and feminine with a kick. Rock Star is a bit sheer so I applied three thin coats. Two might be enough if you apply it a bit thicker but personally I prefer thin layers. Shown here with top coat.
I stamped over it using Nicole by OPI Still Into Pink. Nope, there is nothing Winterish about this manicure. I took one look at this manicure and all I could think of was Jem and the Holograms. A girl has got to have fun! It might be early January but I am ready for the spring colors, and I am taking you with me. You are going to be glad I did!
