OPI's Mini Series!
OPI Magazine Cover Mouse
OPI Magazine Cover Mouse liquid sand is textured and fabulous. It's a classic red with a sprinkle of fuchsia sparkles and a golden shimmer. The formula is smooth and easy to apply and only took two coats for opacity. I allowed five minutes drying time for the first coat to dry before adding the second coat. If you enjoyed wearing Jinx you are going to love wearing Magazine Cover Mouse as well. It's textured without being rough and grabby. Not once did my polish snag on anything which was one of the reasons I used to avoid textured polishes. My nails looked like there were druzy adorned. The facets caught so much light and glittered in the sun just like quartz crystals. Does it get better than that?
I could not in good faith remove Magazine Cover Mouse before I checked out how it looked all gussied up. I loved the texture but I know what a difference gloss can make and I was not wrong. The fuchsia glitter is much more apparent under a glassy smooth finish. This would be a perfect base for red galaxy nails. It took me three coats of top coat before it was smooth so it did take work and I ended up with thicker than average polish on my nails. I loved Magazine Cover Mouse both textured and glossy but if you want a smooth finish you will need to give yourself a bit more time to apply all the layers. I expected removal to be a pain but it was actually easier than your average glitter polish. I can't wait to get my hands on a few more liquid sand polishes!
