OPI Suzi Nails New Orleans

Nailvanna,nail polish reviews,lacquer,OPI,New Orleans,Suzi Nails New Orleans,pink

This collection sure is heavy on the pinks but with spring on the way it's not surpising. They are all a bit different though so there is something for every pink lover out there. Suzi Nails New Orleans is a bubble gum pink that goes on streaky as well but not as bad as the other streaky ones from this collection. I had to use three coats to even it out and topped it up with top coat but you may get away with only two coats. Because the camera is so unforgiving I wanted to make sure I had everything covered. Not a very original color but It is bright and fun and it will fit in well for the spring/summer season. Missed the rest of the collection catch up here!

OPI Spare Me A French Quarter?

Spare Me A French Quarter? was another one in this collection that had a really great formula. I'm wearing two coats with top coat. It's a raspberry cream that is really well balanced between light and dark. I can see this one finding it's way onto many toes this summer including mine!

Show Us Your Tips!

So I saved this one for last. Out of the whole collection Show Us Your Tips! is the only one that is almost a glitter polish. I had a feeling that this one would be my favorite. It's a soft blue caught between periwinkle and cornflower filled with shimmery glass flecks that glitter ever so nicely. The formula is thin and a litte sheer so I had to use three coats to reach opacity but it was totally worth it.

OPI usually has large collections. Most of them have glitters, cremes and stuff in between. New Orleans surprised me with the lack off glitter in this collection, as you may have noticed. I thought about adding glitter to all but Show Us Your Tips! up until the point I started painting. Even the colors that are plagued by streaky formulas have some appeal to them. Got Myself Into a Jam-balaya was the first one I tried and I was grumbling about the lack of glitter the whole time I was paining my nails. Behavior I may have adopted from my daughter so mental note to self to remember to adult a bit more! Because it was streaky it added to my irritation but I know I have polishes with much worse formulas that I am happy to use because I love the color. Once it dried and I had a chance to live with it a little bit I found that I was being unfair and I loved the color and I was not the only one just by the number of people who commented on my nails. This set the mood for the collection as a whole for me. If I had to choose my favorites it would be Got Myself Into A Jam-balaya, Show Us Your Tips, Rich Girls & Po-Boys, Humidi-Tea and She's A Bad Muffaletta. I did try to pick only three and I really can't do it. Besides who would make such a ridiculous rule that you can only pick three?
