Finger Lickin' Good!

OPI New Orleans

When my little eyes spied the new OPI collection New Orleans I was excited! I have never been to New Orleans but it's on my bucket list. Anne Rice has created such a romantic scene of the city in her books that it sounds completely amazing I mean how could I not want to visit? When my package arrived I could not wait to open it. I was expecting glitter, glitter and more glitter!....I didn't take a sneak peek online ahead of time. I am not usually able to restrain myself but having had such a busy schedule lately made it easier. So there I was sitting on my couch opening up the box, examining each bottle of polish and to my horror I did not find one little itty bitty bottle of glitter polish. WTF? I know, I know, its practically soul crushing right. For a second I thought there was a mistake. They must have sent me the wrong polishes! Googling revealed that my nightmare was in fact reality and that I was looking at the right collection. Ok, I'm an adult. (Really) I can handle this! Worst case scenario I have glitter toppers....

So let's get this party going, I thought about reviewing all twelve bottles in one post but I'm going to mix things up and post as my schedule allows.

Got Myself Into a Jam-balaya

OPI Got Myself Into a Jam-balaya was one streaky pain in my backside pink. A pretty pink with hints of coral and is a very appealing polish and would look great if I had a tan. The formula was not what I am used to from OPI. I had to apply three coats to get it even but it does try to self level. Maybe a sprinkle of glitter in the formula may have improved the problem? I think I might be on to something there. So much for my subtle hints to OPI. At the end of the day wearing it though I must admit I had come around. The color is quite nice, I was asked several times what polish I was wearing even withough glitter.

Will Manicure for Beads

Will Manucure for Beads is a pretty violet creme. It's not a unique color but it is so lovely none the less that I can see many ladies picking this one as a favorite from this collection. I know that whenever I catch myself planing what sandals the polish will compliment the most I have found a keeper. The formula for Will Manicure for Beads is excellent. The two coats I applied went on smooth and dried so shinny that top coat is only required to protect your pretty digits.
