I have always liked mauve. Not crazy OMG most favorite color ever like because I reserve that for things that sparkle, but I'm definitely fond of the color. I get a lot of compliments when I wear it so that might have something to do with it. Kokie Mystic Mauve is more on the purple end of the mauve spectrum. I would even go as far as calling it a dusty purple. Two coats gave me complete opacity and my nails were glossy even before I added top coat.
I had my stamper in my hand a while before I decided on Essie Leggy Legend as a stamping polish. It was my first choice but I kept second guessing myself as to whether or not this color combination would work. Overthinking things is a skill of mine, but I am sure that you might be nodding your head in agreement that you may be guilty of that as well. I am not quite sure if this is really a spring manicure, but it sure turned out pretty. The only thing all that overthinking accomplished was wasting time. I don't know about you but my time is valuable. Speaking of value, I have brought up that topic several times in my Kokie posts. It's hard not to be pleased with Kokie, they make such great polishes, are very reasonably priced and routinely outperform polishes that are at much higher price points. You can now find Kokie at Walmart in the U.S making them easier to acquire. Hooray! I have seen many excited posts on Instagram of people coming across it unexpectedly. I'm really glad to see a good product becoming more and more accessible. If you live outside of the U.S. their products are still only available online but not having to leave the house to shop has it's perks as well!
