What's a Valentines day countdown without classic red nails? Kokie Seeing Red has an awesome viscosity. I love painting my nails but when you are using a good polish like Seeing Red it's especially rewarding. I found this polish to be balanced perfectly, not leaning towards the blues, or the orange shades, making it a true classic red. I know it's not a unique color, red nails have been done so many times and in so many shades, I doubt that anyone can keep track of the number. I read once that the ancient Egyptian high society painted their nails red to exhibit class ranking! No wonder the color is still associated with power and passion. I applied two coats with top coat and in person you cannot see my nail lines, even if in this picture you can slightly make them out. You can't go wrong with a good red manicure!
I wanted to keep it fun so I added some emoji stamps. Got to admit that it was not my finest stamping job but it was one of the most fun to do. I had a little help from Lil' Miss. Nailvanna but we did pretty good, all things considered. I'm debating about sticking to the red and pink theme this week because it's very fitting for the time of year, and when else will I get a chance to over do those colors to this extent. It's just a thought right now but stick around for the rest of the week and see what happens.
