Kokie Azure Allure form the Rapidgel line is not the typical shade of blue that I reach for. I tend to get pulled towards the more vibrant shades where as this one is a slightly muted azure blue. As soon as I had it on my nails though I was sold on the color. Another great formula from Kokie that glides on and makes painting your nails fun. Like the other colors I have tried from the Rapidgel line it dries glossy all on it's own. Which is amazing if you are in a hurry and pressed for time. Rapidgel polishes are not a gel so they apply and remove just like a normal nail polish – no UV light or soaking required. Two coats had my nails completely opaque without any streaks or nail lines showing through.
It took me a minute to decide what I wanted to put with such a gorgeous base color. I wanted something light and delicate. I played with the usual suspects that are my standard choices for stamping but nothing really felt right. Kokie Pop The Champagne, a very light gold shimmer is on my list of polishes I would like to wear soon, so I decided to try it out as a stamping polish and I got exactly what I was hoping for. I thought about including a swatch of Pop The Champagne but I liked it so much that it's going to be getting it's very own post in the near future. Keep watching, and have a great weekend!
