For The Twill Of It
Essie For The Twill Of It
As I was pulling out some of my fall favorites I came across Essie For The Twill Of It and remembered that I had promised to post this one over a month ago when I tested out Twill Seeker from the Gel Couture line. The names of the polish hint that they might be twinsies. For The Twill Of It is a metallic multi chrome polish that shifts from purple to teal to green. Since Essie does not do a whole lot of due chrome polishes I was thrilled the first time I saw it. I really love that the color shift is not one bit shy. The joy of wearing a multi chrome polish is seeing all the different colors but when your polish just does not want to cooperate it is a bummer. For The Twill Of It has one of the most satisfying shifts that I have worn. The formula has a great consistency that makes it easy to apply. I applied two coats with top coat for the picture. Being metallic brush marks is an issue for so you should apply it with care. How do Twill Seeker and For The Twill Of It compare? Well they both have Twill in their names and both made by Essie. I can see that For The Twill Of I was the inspiration for Twill Seeker but the color shift is much more pronounced on For The Twill Of It. The formula for Twill Seeker I felt was better but we are splitting hairs. I need to own both. You don't have to read too many of my posts to realize when it comes to nail polish I'm a little greedy. I recommend trying it!
