“Hold fast to dreams, For if dreams die Life is a broken-winged bird, That cannot fly.”  ― Langston

OOO Polish creator Symantha sent me a two PR samples from her brand new indie line this week to try. She has three collections out so far and both of the ones I am showing you today are from the Orisha collection. One of the first things I noticed was that she did't just name her polishes but she named them after deities and included a very rich story for each and every one. I just love that because it shows how hard she works on her product and her attention to detail is incredible. I love being able to support the indie community because I know I am helping people to support their families and pursue their dreams.

OOO Polish Oya

Oya was the one I was most excited to try because I was loving the red color in the bottle. I must admit that I did have high expectations. With the amount of effort Symantha put into creating the story behind each polish I figured she must have put the same effort into the quality of the product. From the first coat i knew that I wasn't going to be disappointed. I am looking forward to trying just about any of the colors from this brand. It's clear that OOO Polish is on the right track! The formula went on smooth and had a great consistency. It has been pretty hot here and when I was painting my nails it was humid as well. I was absolutely certain that my polish would bubble by the second coat because of that. I was very happy to find not one bubble reared it's ugly head even though I was too impatient to wait for the first layer to dry before I added the second. I found that the color was just as pretty on my nails as in the bottle. It has a copper base that I found very flattering. I don't think there is a single skin tone that could not rock this color. Oya has a bit of a metallic feel to it and brush stokes were minimal.

OOO Polish Obatala

Obatala was a real surprise when it comes to color. It is a chocolate mauve with a purple shimmer that pops when you least expect it. It's not a shade that I would usually reach for but since I have been trying to expand my horizons I have been wearing things that are not my norm. I received more then a few compliments wearing it. The formula for this polish as well was really good. I had no issues of any kind with application or leveling.

My first impression of OOO Polish was a very good one all around. Symantha had great communication so I knew when my polish went out. I loved the formula for both Oya and Obatala and both colors were very pleasing. I also liked that the polish was durable and did not chip on my nails. I have noticed that in her newer collections she has been experimenting with glitter and texture and I am super excited to see what she comes up with next. You should definitely check out her website here! Try out a few of her colors yourself I have a sneaking suspicion you will love OOO Polish too!
