Pretty and Green, But No Sparkle To Be Seen
Color Club Glitter Envy Is there a better time of the year then St. Patrick's day to pull out your fun green polishes and wear them to your hearts content? I don't think there is. I have several green polishes that I have been really looking forward to wearing and this is the week for it. Color Club Glitter Envy is one of those polish I went hunting for because I have the rest of the Starry Temptress collection and I wanted the green one I was missing as well. A bright neon g

Your Future Is Clear... Crystal Clear!
Color Club Crystal Baller I love wearing holographic nail polish when the sun comes out! OK so that is pretty much every girl out there as well, but who could blame us? Of course it's way better when that sun is hot and you can spend the day lounging just soaking in the heat. For now I am just going to have to use my imagination for the heat part. Color Club Crystal Baller is one of those amazing gotta have it polishes that was released as part of the Halo Hues 2015 collecti

Twinkle Twinkle little star now I wonder how many there are...
Color Club Wink, Wink, Twinkle Color Club Wink, Wink, Twinkle is very pretty. It is a fuchsia jelly base filled with holographic glitter that somehow loses it's bling power in the application process. I had expected this, as the other colors from this collection were the same but this one seems to have a bit more sparkle. I feel a bit conflicted because I'm not saying great things about this polish but when I look down at my nails it makes me happy. This combination of trick

I can't believe I waited this long to have an Affair!
Color Club Winter Affair I picked up Color Club Winter Affair just this summer but it has been on my wish list ever since I saw it on someone else a couple of years go. It's a burgundy meets plum, dark and rich filled with shimmer and glass flecks that give this polish amazing depth. It's what I noticed about it the first time I saw it and had to know what it was. In this picture I am wearing two coats with top coat. The formula is a dream to work with. Great consistency and

This polish left me feeling a little holo.
Color Club You Got Soul-ar. Summer is not over yet and I am not willing to give up on the neons that are so perfect for the season. Color Club You Got Soul-ar has the perfect combination of what a girl needs for a wicked summer manicure. While retailers are falling over each other promoting their new fall merchandise I am painting my nails with glitter infused tangerine orange that screams summer isn't over! Why should we kiss this season goodbye so swiftly, it barely starte

Ground Control To Major Tiffy.
Color Club Space Case Color Club Space Case was a surprise, not because I received it as a gift but because I came across it in my untried drawer, and I had no recollection at all buying it. I'm usually very accurate when it comes to keeping track of what I own, even if I haven't worn it yet. Looking at the bottle I was not overly impressed with the shade of pink but since the holo glitter looked pretty I felt it had promise. The formula was easy, smooth and the consistency

Astral Projection!
Color Club Ultra-Astral Color Club Ultra-Astral is perfect for the transition from spring to summer. I realize it's only May and yes I know it's been way colder than May has any businesses being but just for a little while let me have my daydream that summer is just around the corner. Ultra-Astral has been around for ages, and I know this because I have had it for a couple of years. It is a touch sheer but the formula is very good and easy to work with. I applied three thin

A little magic of your very own!
Color Club Magic Attraction Color Club Magic Attraction is a bottle of holographic glitter in a clear base. I used three coats of Magic Attraction and two generous layers of top coat. You will need at least two coats for opacity, I preferred three. I am not quite sure if this polish was intended to be textured of if that just a happenstance of the glitter but it does dry to a gritty finish. My solution is to drown that puppy in top coat and once again works like a charm.

TGIF!
Gift of Sparkle Happy Friday everyone! I'm really looking forward to the weekend and some much needed down time after a busy week. Today I chose a polish by Color Club called Gift of Sparkle. The formula is a little bit thick but quite easy to apply. I used two coats and encountered no issues at all. It is a chunky holographic glitter and as you can see in the picture above it does dry to a texture. It was tempting to wear it as is because I really liked the look. Reminde
