Fo Shizzle My Fizzle!
China Glaze Lemon Fizz When my girlfriend pulled China Glaze Lemon Fizz out of her purse to show me what she bought I could feel my eyes narrow a little. Sure I have seen it around but when it comes to yellow polish... well we don't get along. I try to play nice but my complexion is all wrong for it. When I happen to find a shade of yellow that I can get away with the formula is a disaster. I look so much better in blue! My girlfriend was not privy to my inner monologue and a

Soo Shifty!
China Glaze Pearl Jammin' I have seen China Glaze Pearl Jammin' around a time or two but it just never really spoke to me so I kept passing on it. I heard a few people talking about it and they were really crushing on it so I decided to check it out. It was released this fall as part of the Rebel 2016 collection. At first I thought it was a pale grey with pink opalescent shimmer. I started painting my nails with it and I was seeing a pale blue with a gold shimmer. I applied t

Disturbed!
China Glaze But Of Corpse China Glaze But Of Corpse is Halloween in a bottle! Mossy swamp green matte polish with little black bits of micro glitter. This one dries very fast so there's not much room for error when painting your nails. The formula is a touch on the thicker side but it's not difficult to work with. I applied two coats for opacity. If you are not in the mood for the typical orange and blacks for Halloween this is definitely a viable option. It is textured but o

Ready For The Zombie Apocalypse!
China Glaze Don't Let The Dead Bite China Glaze Don't Let The Dead Bite is a pink nude jelly filled with pink glitter. It's a Halloween polish that is both pretty and icky at the same time. Glitter for blood splatter? Yes please! This is a sheer formula with a smooth consistency so I applied three coats and there is still a bit of my nail line visible. I added top coat before taking this picture. It really is the prettiest discomforting polish I own. Part Dexter part Walking

Just Click You're Heels Together Three Times!
China Glaze Ruby Pumps Is there anything more fun than a super sparkly red polish on your nails? Maybe having super sparkly red polish on your toes as well! China Glaze Ruby Pumps has been around for a long time and is part of the China Glaze core line up so you can go and pick it up any time you want to if you don't have this gem already. I have a bit of a weakness for the Wizard of Oz themed polishes because it is one of my favorite stories. My grade school BFF and I were

I Love Playing With Purple!
China Glaze Mix and Mingle China Glaze Mix and Mingle is from the Cheers Winter 2015 collection and just happens to be one of my favorite creme polishes. You are looking at two coats of polish and no top coat. Just threw it right on and let it dry. I allowed for 2-3 minutes of drying time between coats. It's an eye catching vivid shade of purple that I adore and have worn on my fingers and toes! I felt Mix and Mingle was a bit of an unusual choice of color for a set released

China Glaze I Soiree I Didn't Do It
China Glaze I Soiree I Didn't Do It I knew exactly what I was looking for when I went looking through my China Glaze stash but I got derailed. I was going for something a bit neutral, soft... and we have a teal glitter bomb! China Glaze I Soiree I Didn't Do It just jumped right out of my collection and demanded I wear it. I was not about to argue. I purchased this beauty last winter as part of the Holiday 2015 Cheers collection and have only worn it once before. Green teal he

Glitter Me This!
Ciaté Dangerous Affair Ciaté Dangerous Affair was a happy little surprise in my August Ipsy bag and I was pretty excited to try it out. A stunning burgundy cream that is going to fit like a glove into my collection. It's a deep color that would be flattering on just about any skin tone. It's one of the classics and should be a staple color in every girls collection. The formula is smooth and easy to apply. The first coat was a touch patchy and second one still had a couple o

Wake Up!
China Glaze Jagged Little Teal China Glaze Jagged Little Teal is squeaky new from the Rebel collection released for fall 2016. The collection seems to have been inspired by the 90's and I am really liking what I have seen so far. I was sure that I was going to try something with a glitter of some kind first from this collection but when this one caught my eyes it was a done deal. Vamp deep teal that is easy on the eyes and would make a beautiful base for glitter and nail art

Be Koi With Me!
China Glaze Japanese Koi China Glaze Japanese Koi is a bright one! Neon orange so bright and loud that it's distracting. One of the reasons I reached for this polish was because of how much I loved wearing Pool Party which is also from China Glaze. This may have started a bit of a neon obsession for me. I love bright and vibrant nails but that one turned me into a bit of a neon monster. I applied a white base coat to my nails and allowed them to dry before I started painting
